Gary Taylor's career began to take flight in London during the early 80s.  In London he played with legendary NWBHM band Tank with Algy Ward (from  Dammend).  He also played with John Sykes, Thin Lizy and Merv Goldsworthy (from FM and Diamond Head).

New York

After London, Taylor took his talents to New York City in the early 90s.  While in New York he played with Sonny Vincent, recorded and toured with members of The Replacements, Husker Du, Velvet Underground and more.

Los Angeles

Taylor then continued the move west, ending up in Los Angeles.  In Los Angeles he has played with Reeves Gabrels (from David Bowie, Tin Machine, and The Cure).  He has also been a member of country rock band the Deserters, which includes members of the London Quireboys.  Taylor currently plays for Ballrooms of Mars, which also includes members of the London Quireboys.  Ballrooms of Mars are currently working on their debut album.
